Don’t forget kittens, to watch our favourite Easter movie this weekend…”Easter Parade” with Fred Astaire and Judy Garland. Admittedly, the love story line between their two characters is a bit creepy because of the age difference. But the lead male role was supposed to go to Gene Kelley, who would have been perfect. Except that he broke his leg just before shooting began. And thus, history was changed forever.

Speaking of Easter, did you know that Elizabeth Taylor & Henry Fonda starred in the 1973 film "Ash Wednesday"

About Us

What do you do with Wednesday?

It’s not the beginning of the week.  It’s not the end of the week.  It’s rarely a payday.  Poor old Wednesday, it even gets referred to as humpday.  Now I’m not a day of the week, but if I were, that’s got to hurt!

whatever happened to baby jane“No more” we say, “No more!”  We’ve decided to rescue Wednesday from its’ seeming oblivion.  OK, it’s not like we’ve discovered a cheaper way to harness hydrogen, but Wednesday has suddenly become a day to mark on your weekly calendars.

Every Wednesday morning, at 10:00 am PST,  we send our weekly issue of “10onWedneday” to all of our subscribers.  Later that same day, we update our website.  So the benefit to being ‘on the list’ is that you get first chance to look at “This Weeks’ Ten” and, buy all ten items if you like!  (We really encourage that kind of abandon).

Every week there are 10 items, never more, never less.  It’s fun and easy to read.  Thrifting shouldn’t just be about shopping or bargains (although we do have lots of those), we love it so much we think it is a form of entertainment.

We try to have as diverse an assortment of items as we can put together.  They’re unique, interesting, and occasionally sometimes practical.
